KWIK-START DESIGN POLICY

Kwik Start Pricing

 

Single Page – $499

All content is on a single page with information in sections

Initial design and updates must be completed in the first 30 days unless a pause is agreed to on both sides. An additional 30 days is available for corrections or minor additions. We will not do any major redesign during this period.

5 Page – $699

Content is spread across up to 5 pages.

EComm – $999

Site content such as Home, About, Terms and conditions, Contact page is as per a standard 5 page site, but there can be multiple product pages.

We will include up to 30 products in our base price. You will need to give us product images, descriptions and options, but we will do the layout and design.

Our creation price does not include any additional plugins. Any costs associated will be past onto the client.

 

Included in all Kwik start Packages:

The initial design and layout will be based on the theme you selected for the site. Minor changes to the theme such as placements and color choices etc. are usually possible at no extra charge.

During the initial consultation, we’ll discuss the basic SEO strategy for your site. SEO is a large and complex subject but it’s important that the base site be built with the fundamentals of SEO right from the start.

 Kwik Start considerations

Single Page designs will contain these sections, or Five page designs will be:

• Home page or Front-Page Section
• About us (includes owners Bio)
• Services – a general description of products/services offered (up to 5)
• Blog (optional)
• Contact Us

 Not included are

Stock Images/footage

Logo Design

Custom art

Copywriting (we will do small sections or edit for space but most material must come from Client)

No eCommerce – beyond simple links to outside payment processors

You must not plagiarize content by copying and pasting content or blog posts from another site. It must be produced by you or somebody you appointed. We will check blog posts with Copyscape.

External steaming media storage (Vimeo) that we provide. We will link to YouTube videos off their YouTube channel.

Long content – we include enough content on each page or section to fulfill the purpose of the site, but long content that goes on for more than three times the upper fold is at extra charge.

Image manipulation and Copyright protection.

Images provided as samples included in the theme are protected under the Creative Commons license

•  Attribution is not required. Giving credit to the photographer or Pexels is not necessary but always appreciated.
•  You can modify the photos and videos from Pexels. Be creative and edit them as you like.

 

Images provided by Client.

Must be copyright free. They may not be taken from the Internet from a search.

Images provided containing identifiable people or buildings must have either a Model Release or Property Release.

If you are providing images you have purchased from a stock photo agency you must include proof of ownership. You can provide a screenshot of your download showing your account.

If you have hired a photographer/videographer to produce custom content, you must provide a release from them to use the content.

Images/videos of products or services provided to you by one or more of your vendors are allowed.

 

What is not allowed?

Respect the hard work of our contributors and keep these restrictions in mind.

• ✕ Identifiable people may not appear in a bad light or in a way that is offensive.
• ✕ Don’t sell unaltered copies of a photo or video, e.g. as a poster, print or on a physical product without modifying it first.
• ✕ Don’t imply endorsement of your product by people or brands on the imagery.
• ✕ Don’t redistribute or sell the photos and videos on other stock photo or wallpaper platforms.

 

 Videos Provided

You must also have a model and/or property release for anyone/building that is clearly identifiable in the video.

If the video includes music, you must provide proof of ownership (ie proof of purchase from a stock agency along with their requirements for display of rights)

Video content provided will not be placed on your hosting account. We will host it on our Streaming Server for best display. There will be a streaming media fee for the space used on the server. You purchase space in blocks starting as low as 5GB.

Image/Video Manipulations

We may need to edit content provided:

Images may be modified by size, resolution, cropping, color balance, sharpness etc. to optimize it for the theme or to optimize download speed if the images are too large. We will not modify or distort any product or person in an unflattering way.
